The 2023 Collectible of the Year marks 75 years since the original Zippo car first took to the highways and captivated onlookers across America. This Armor® High Polish Black Collectible depicts the iconic Zippo car using our Photo Image 360° process, which extends the design around all sides of the piece. Laser Two-Tone is used to reveal the Zippo flame and 75th anniversary icon in luxurious brass tones, while the car’s chimney is illuminated by a Fire Opal crystal, chosen specially for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Finally, the gold-plated insert is engraved with a repeating Zippo motif for the very first time, distinguishing this Collectible from all others before it. Each lighter is consecutively numbered, features a Luxury bottom stamp and comes in special collectible packaging.

Die Heimat des berühmten Zippo Sturmfeuerzeugs befindet sich in den USA in Bradford im Bundesstaat Pennsylvania. Hier werden die Feuerzeuge designed und in der eigenen Fabrik gefertigt.

Die acht kleinen Löcher symbolisieren den Kamin des Feuerzeugs, der den Docht beherbergt. Auf jeder Seite des Kamins befinden sich jeweils acht kleine Löcher in der Anordnung drei, zwei, drei. Ein Kennzeichen für ein original Zippo Feuerzeug.

Seit 2018 ist das bekannte Kick Geräusch, das beim Öffnen des Zippo Feuerzeugs zu hören ist, eine eingetragene Hörmarke. Dieser Sound macht ein Zippo Feuerzeug unverwechselbar.
